Masdar First has completed the turnkey installation of a high-voltage solar power system at Al-Arabiya Furniture Center (Al-Arabiya Center). The project was executed to meet the center's operational load with a reliable, sustainable energy supply while reducing dependence on conventional grid and generator power.
Project scope and timeline
The contract covered system design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and staff training. Work progressed through site survey, structural and electrical design, equipment procurement, mechanical installation, electrical connections, and final commissioning tests. The project was delivered on schedule and handed over after full system testing and client training.
Technical specifications
- Total installed capacity: 50 kW (DC/AC system design)
- Inverter: 50 kW Hybrid Inverter (Deye HV) — manages PV, load, and battery interaction.
- PV array: 50 panels × 710 W each — total PV peak 35.5 kWp.
- Battery bank: 60 kW Deye HV high-voltage battery system for load smoothing and backup.
- Monitoring & control: Real-time monitoring dashboard and remote diagnostics for performance and maintenance.
Operational benefits
The solution provides the center with stable power during operating hours, enhances resilience against grid interruptions, and reduces fuel consumption from backup generators. The included monitoring system enables remote performance checks and predictive maintenance, helping the client maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
Client handover & training
As part of the handover, Masdar First delivered a technical training session for Al-Arabiya Center's facility staff covering system operation, routine checks, and safety protocols. A maintenance contract and a recommended spare-parts list were provided to ensure long-term reliability.
